Who we are
CatalystFlo is a B2B marketing agency based in Anna Nagar, Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India, run as a sole proprietorship by Siva Rama Krishnan M. In this policy, "CatalystFlo", "we" and "us" mean the business, and "you" means anyone who visits catalystflo.com or contacts us through it.
This policy explains what personal information we collect, why we collect it, and the choices you have. We follow the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the rules made under them.
What we collect
Information you give us. When you ask for a visibility review, book a call, email us or message us on LinkedIn, we collect what you share: usually your name, work email, phone number, company name and website, role, approximate company revenue and any notes about your needs.
Information collected automatically. Our hosting provider records basic technical data needed to deliver and protect the website, such as IP address, browser type, pages requested and the time of the request. We do not use advertising trackers on this website.
Information from public sources. To prepare a visibility review or proposal, we look at publicly available information about your company, such as your website, search results, AI answers and public LinkedIn pages.
We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18, and we do not ask for sensitive information such as financial account details or health data.
How we use it
- To reply to your enquiry and schedule calls.
- To prepare your free visibility review, proposal or scope of work.
- To deliver services once you become a client, and to send invoices and reports.
- To send occasional updates about our work, only where you have agreed to receive them. You can stop these at any time.
- To keep the website secure, working and fast.
- To meet our legal, tax and accounting obligations.
We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information.
Consent and legal basis
We process your information because you have given it to us for a specific purpose, such as asking for a review or booking a call, or because it is needed to perform a contract with you or to comply with the law. Where we rely on your consent, you can withdraw it at any time by writing to us. Withdrawing consent does not affect processing that has already taken place.
Who we share it with
We share information only with service providers that help us run the business, and only what they need to do their job:
- Website hosting and security: Cloudflare.
- Call scheduling: Calendly, when you book a call.
- CRM, email and business tools: Zoho and our email provider.
- Professional advisers: our accountant or lawyer, where needed.
Some of these providers store data outside India. Where that happens, we use providers that apply recognised security standards. We may also disclose information when required by law or to protect our rights.
Client data in our work
When we work for a client, we may handle information that belongs to them, such as leads in their CRM or access to their website and social accounts. We use it only to deliver the agreed services, keep access to the people who need it, and return or delete it when the engagement ends, as set out in the client's scope of work.
How long we keep it
We keep personal information only for as long as it is needed for the purposes described in this policy, or for as long as the law requires, for example for tax and accounting records. When it is no longer needed, we delete or anonymise it. You can ask us to delete your information sooner, subject to those legal requirements.
How we protect it
We use access controls, two step sign in on our business accounts, encrypted connections and reputable providers. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information and will tell you without delay if a breach affects you.
Your rights
You can ask us to:
- tell you what personal information we hold about you and how we use it,
- correct or complete information that is wrong or out of date,
- delete your information when it is no longer needed,
- stop sending you updates, and
- name someone to exercise these rights on your behalf.
